Bake a Synced Count-In Into Your Backing Track
Practice apps play a count-in, but it never survives the export. CountIn finds the tempo and beat one for you, then bakes the count-in into the file itself. Change the key to fit your singer, tempo untouched, and export a stage-ready MP3 or WAV.

Everything you need to get your tracks stage-ready
Built by musicians, for musicians
Synced Count-In
One or two bars of count-in that end exactly on beat one, so the whole band comes in together. Add INTRO bars to keep it clicking into the first bars of the song.
Tempo and Downbeat Found for You
Upload a track and CountIn works out the tempo and where beat one lands, with no tapping it in by hand. If the detection misses, drag the marker on the waveform or tap the tempo yourself.
Multiple Count Sounds
Choose from hi-hat, open hi-hat, or sticks. Adjust the volume so it sits right in your mix.
Change the Key
Drop the song into your singer's range. Shift the key up or down in semitones without changing the tempo.
Instant Preview
Hear how your count-in sounds before exporting. Tweak it until it feels right.
MP3 & WAV Export
Export in your preferred format. High-quality audio ready for live performance or practice.
Stereo Split
Put the count-in on its own channel, so the band hears it in their in-ears and the audience hears only the song. Or keep it Mixed, inside the track.
Consistent Loudness
Every export lands at the same standard level (-14 LUFS), so no song in your set is quieter or louder than the rest. On by default, easy to switch off.
Private & Secure
Your audio stays private. Preview processing happens in your browser. Files are deleted after export.
How it works
Your track goes in, a stage-ready version comes out.
1. Drop in your track
Drag in whatever you bounced. MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC and OGG all work.
2. Beat one is found for you
CountIn reads the tempo and marks where the song lands on "one". If it misses, drag the marker or tap the tempo yourself.
3. Shape the count-in
Pick one or two bars, choose hi-hat or sticks, set the volume. Change the key to fit your singer as well if you need to, with the tempo untouched.
4. Check it and export
Play it back, then export a file that's ready for the stage.

Frequently asked questions
What audio formats are supported?
CountIn supports MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, and OGG files, which covers the common formats for backing tracks. Files can be up to 100 MB.
How accurate is the BPM detection?
Our BPM detection analyzes up to 60 seconds of audio for high accuracy. You can always manually adjust the BPM if needed.
Do I need to create an account?
No account needed. Just upload a track and start working. After you buy, you get a unique access link by email.
What does "lifetime access" mean?
Pay once, export forever. No subscriptions. Your access link keeps working.
Is my audio private?
Yes. Preview processing happens locally in your browser. Server uploads are only for export and are deleted after processing.
Can I process multiple tracks?
Yes. Upload and process as many tracks as you need. Each export uses your lifetime access.
Can the audience hear the count-in?
That is your choice. A Mixed export plays the count wherever the track plays, like a drummer's stick count. A Split export puts the count-in on its own channel, so only the band's in-ears hear it.
Is it called a count-in or a count-off?
Both mean the same thing: the count that sets the tempo before a song starts, like a drummer clicking 1-2-3-4 so the band comes in together. CountIn adds one to any backing track, ending right on beat one.
